Anyway, he bought me this product and we used it on the seats of one of the couches. I am happy to say that yes this product does a great job of cleaning the stains on this couch, but it left my seats crunchy and basically ruined the suedelike feel of the seats. Granted, I don't have the highest quality furniture so if that's a factor, I am not sure. Anyway, I do recommend the product on its ability to clean upholstery, but I wouldn't recommend using it on anything microfiber that you value. I am not disappointed that my couch is messed up because I plan on getting new furniture anyway.
