The hot water dispenser is not convenient I purchased this for the convenience of the coffeemaker/hot water dispenser in one appliance vs. two separate ones taking up counter space. The coffee maker part is great. The hot water dispenser is not convenient. The steam and condensation from brewing the coffee travels under the lid to the neighboring hot water compartment. The hot water compartment collects the condensation along with any stray coffee grinds, and there is no easy way to clean it. It does not fully drain and it is not easy to wipe out. The hot water comes out stinky and full or particles. I tried to use it a few times and gave up after all the work it required.

It has a set-delay timer to start it before you wake and a fresh brew timer to turn off the burner plate automatically after 2 hrs. I love all of the functions and being able to set up coffee to begin brewing before I awake, is a dream come true. This pot makes a good pot of coffee without any odd flavoring like some.
