Beats buying a new motor...give it a try! According to most of the web sites and parts lists, the only way to get this pulley is with the $150++ motor. Check the position before you start hacking at it. You need to make sure that it aligns with the belt. I was able to get the old one off (gently breaking the tabs one at a time) without a puller (the right way). The new pulley snapped right on and aligned correctly. I felt really good about this fix. A cheap faulty pump replacement bound up which grabbed the belt which caused the pulley to slip which heated up and ate the pulley. I was really angry at the pump...eating my $150++ motor... Then this part...give it a try...what do you have to lose? 10 minutes and $10...or just go get a new washer...
