Seeing a few negative reviews, I decided to buy the single pack instead of the 3 pack, and boy I'm glad I'm only stuck with one of these. Generally when i put in a new LG filter, i flush them as recommended, but the water is visually clear the whole time. With this filter, the water was initially quite grey and almost a little oily. It did clear up as i ran more water through, but even once the water was clear, it had an odd taste, and felt like something was coating my mouth. I also noticed that the stream coming out of the water dispenser would start strong, and then very rapidly lose about half pressure, like something was caught in the line. After about 24 hours, I pulled this filter, and put in the old one until I can get to the store and get a new one. All the problems went away, even with a filter that has already been used up. Will not be buying this again.
