BEWARE - Cheap Cooler, Died after a year Overall this is a good cooler. It keeps the water nice and cold and the reverse osmosis filtration tastes great - I couldn't tell the difference between the Alhambra bottles we used to buy and this. The only issue I had with it was that the circuit board died about a month into ownership after a power outage. The vendor shipped me a replacement which was relatively easy to replace, but the board this unit uses looks poorly made, kind of like a 7th grade lab project. I have since installed a single device surge protector on this unit to hopefully prevent another issue with the circuit board but it loses a point due to the shoddy board used in this unit. UPDATE August 2014 - Well this cooler worked OK for a year (minus the circuit board issue) but recently failed on me. It started leaking slowly from the tank area, and the RO unit began making a lot of noise whenever it turns on or off. In addition the compressor runs constantly now and doesn't chill the water like it should...
