Looks and fits okay however ---
My Whirlpool filter is located at the very bottom of the fridge. The replacement filter is marked on the bottom with an arrow indicating "up". This is 90 degrees off. Filters I have purchased in the past had the arrow/arrows pointing correctly to the 9 o'clock. position. A first time user might consider the arrow up position as correct and force the door shut possibly damaging something. Just make sure not to rotate the old filter as you remove it, lay it on the floor and position the new one next to it and ignore the arrow. Nothing in the directions to warn you.

Too tight a fit
It is a very tight fit unlike other replacement filters I have bought in the past. I was afraid I might damage the filter or the filter connections tying to install it. Will avoid the Appliance Shop brand in the future.
