I came home and ordered mine that day. Put it in a central location...I have an open floor plan and love it. Have had delivery people tell me my house always smells so good, even with a dog. The machine is electric and uses water in the bottom of the tank with your preferred pure scented oil...just a Tsp does my whole house. I use DoTerra essential oils in them. My kids have seasonal allergies and asthma. We even take one when we stay in a hotel and even when we go camping. We have a pop up camper and it really help. I did not buy mine from Amazon, I got it local. I do think they are worth the money.

Too Noisy, Perfume Too Strong I was given this as a gift. It does seem to remove allergens from the air, but it makes too much noise so I can't use it at night, when I need it most. (I live in CA, where plants pollinate at night due to the heat.) The scents are much too strong and 'perfumey' for someone like myself, who has multiple allergies. The odors choked me, and even after I stopped using the scents and washed it, the aroma was still being emitted. So now it sits on my shelf, unused. Glad it was a gift so I didn't waste any money on it. I'll let it sit around for a while so my friend feels appreciated, then quietly donate it to my locate thrift store. It might be okay if you don't mind continuous loud noise and have a room that really reeks. I thought about moving it to the laundry room because I keep the cat box there, but the cats are afraid of it, so it's not even good for that. I liked my ionizer much better, so I'll probably get another one of those. If you really have problems...
