As seen in the photos (MORE PURE Filter on the right), there is a rubber black ring as part of the MORE PURE filter that isn't included in the regular replacement filter I use, marketed as a Maytag UKF8001 compatible filter. With the black ring in place I could not get the filter to rotate into place. Without the black ring in place, water was spouting out everywhere within the fridge. I was sad that the filter didn't work for me, but the company seems friendly and the price was nearly half on a filter that seems to be getting more expensive every time I get a new one. Update: Changed from 2 to 4 stars because the seller was quick at processing my refund and was happy with my feedback regarding the failure I had with their current model of filter not working as expected.
