It is very effective.and quiet and seems to use very little power. All in all an excellent product. I need one that runs on 110V 60Hz boat power (and shore power when boat is back in US) and has the same modest power draw.. Seems that DeLonghi do not have a 14lt/24 hrs one for 110V 60Hz . I've considered a 12V to 220V 50 Hz inverter for the unit I have but this is very inefficient and an unnacceptable additional power draw when on boat power. Any suggestions much appreciated. John
