Clip Removal I cut the old pad off the plastic drum-like apparatus that was holding it in place. Once I figured out how to remove the clip that was holding the rotating rod in place, installing the new evaporator pad was a breeze. Working fine and ready for next winter when I'll want humidity added to the air in my home.
