It was really easy to get started the first time after reading the directions. The top and bottom part twist apart easily to add the water. The MIN/MAX line is on the bottom half on the side so there is no guess work in figure out if you added too much or little water to it. Once I added the water, I twisted the top back on, plugged in the USB charger, and pressed the top to turn it on/off. The overall best feature for me was just how quiet it was! I used it today in my small home office while I worked and I couldnt hear it at all which is huge for me since I am on the phones all day! Also, whether the lights in the room are on or off you can still see the beautiful blue light shining...
