The other 990-13 evaporator pads that I have purchased cost close to twice as much per pad as the 2 pack including shipping. The powder is on every pad that I have used. Rinsing the pad with water washes off the extra powder and makes it easier to handle without making a mess. Good quality and great price.

Efficient I received this item undamaged and quickly. It is the proper humidifier filter for my humidifier. What a difference this pad makes! All the other pads that I found at local big box hardware stores were less efficient and sent a steady stream of water down the drain. With this GeneralAire pad all the water is picked up by the warm furnace air and raises the humidity in the house, as it should.
