The problem is that Home Depot used to own Chem Dry, and they sold them a couple of years ago to a privately held company. Now you can't buy it at Home Depot anymore except on their website by the case for $160 and it seems the price is going up by the day, and that stuff is at least a couple of years old. Imagine sitting for that long, it's going to loose it's power at some point, and the complaints about no gas in the cans even held true for over half of my case I bought 2 years ago. Chem Dry should offer competitive prices on their product especially due to the small amount of usage that one can provides. You have to really douse a stain for it to work. It doesn't get everything up well, some things, and you have to get a stain when it's fresh, or it really doesn't work. The best part about the stuff is it doesn't leave any residue, but at this point, the price isn't justifiable. I'm going to try...
