A decent espresso maker for the price. Of the bundled items, The metal scoop is very nice, the frother works well, but the milk pitcher is too tall to use with the espresso maker's steamer wand. The cups are mighty small but nicely made. The maker performs pretty well, the in tamper is a little inconvenient, we'll probably pick p a separate tamper one of these days. I'm happy with the quality of the coffee. I want to put in a good word here for DeLonghi customer support; We found the water reservoir handle broken when we opened the box. I contacted the DeLonghi customer support , (there's an 800 number in the instructions), and they sent me a new reservior within a week!

At first when I first opened the box thou, i was taken back by looks of it. Its very small and the machine looked a little on the cheaper side (but for the price, i guess i can't complain). it wasn't hard to learn to work the machine and cleaning up was pretty easy (huge plus). It does take a little bit for it to warm up so you can't just wake up and make a cup of joe, you have to wait a bit. I got to say the bundle was a good idea, although the pitcher should have been a little shorter as you have to add a little extra milk in order for the frother to be able to reach the milk to froth it. It does make great espressos and cappuccinos thou and it has saved me a ton of money by not having to stop at coffee places for a cup. This would be a super great gift!

I don't have the need to heat the milk, I only want a little foam for macchiato. The espresso I have always used tastes better from this machine compared to my last.
