We recently visited my mother-in-law, who lives in another state, for her 100th birthday. She is still spry and had a big party. Just this year she has needed to have outside helpers. A helper had purchased one of these for her from a tv shopping network. I was impressed with it. So when I got home I immediately ordered this one. I am so glad I did. Little did I know that I was to get the flu this season with respiratory congestion. This has been my constant companion since I got sick and I believe it has helped me immensely. A bottle lasts for hours and certainly through the night. It puts out an immediate vapor that I have kept near me and I haven't gone to the doctor. (Another family member tested positive for flu.) I believe this has kept me from getting clogged up like I would have been and has helped me sleep. I have years of experience with big bulky, hard to clean humidifiers. This is a great improvement. Great product, no noise, and perfect for travel! Used this last night for the first time. I was surprised that with the bottle full, and the nozzle on medium it still didnt go through but half of the water. I was worried that through the night the water would be gone and the motor would burn up. Not the case! It would be good to have an auto-off function when it runs out of water for that purpose though. Love the carrying case for travel. Worked great. It was not loud AT ALL. I cannot sleep with any light or noise and I didn't even hear it running. It was sitting on my night stand right by my pillow.
