I bought this given that my wife has difficulty using my manual Italian espresso machine, and her wanting an easy to use coffee maker for pour over. So far this machine has exceeded my expectations. It quickly brews coffee at an appropriate temperature. It helps coffee develop flavors similar to manual pour over. Is this a manual pour over, no it is not, and therefore it is impossible to expect identical quality, but this is sure pretty close. There are no fine adjustments for water temperature, or altitude in this machine, as in others. But, it makes for this in looks. This is a good looking machine with a distinct design, which does appeal to me. The housing is however made of plastic, but I will see how this functions in the long run. Overall, I am very satisfied with this purchase and would recommend it to others.
