Good replacement, looks different than original
It wasn't long after getting an LG machine that I started getting the dreaded "IE" error message (intake error). That meant the filter on the cold water intake line had to be cleaned or replaced. A quick google took me here.

Note that these filters didn't look like the original existing filter (the existing one was light blue, shallower, and had a metal screen), but these actually work better (the deeper cup makes it easier to remove and clean).

I have the machine hooked up to well water, so sediment builds up constantly. Pulling the old filter eventually damaged it (since it was shallow, I had to push it in deeper with a set of needlenose pliers), so these replacements were very helpful.

I had to change these filters often until I installed an in-line water filter on the line. If you're having to replace these filters often, consider an inline fileter.

Perfect OEM LG Washer inlet filters. Don't use your washer without them.
Perfect OEM Product. Quick delivery. Don't use your LG washer without these. I will always keep a few spares around and recommend you do too. I did not clean out my old ones that originally came with the LG washer and eventually, I started having problems with washer fill. I never cleaned these and I broke the original ones that were 5 years old and did not replace them. 3 months later I had an internal valve leak because a piece of material kept the valve open, getting through because I did not replace the filter with these original ones. I now have these original filters in and have had NO MORE PROBLEMS. These are the original filters from LG and the only ones I will ever install.
