However, the construction of the new one is not at all conducive to cleaning. According to the brochure, the design uses Silver Clean technology to fight the growth of mold and mildew on the surface of the water tank. The problem is that mold or mildew ends up growing everywhere else, including the top cap where water mist exits, and along the reservoir where the ultrasonic element is located.
