These filters not only do a terrific job of filtering, their clear design is a step up from the old blue ones. I run two of them connected together with a few inches of pipe. One has the standard large pore filter for particles like this model, the other, a micron charcoal filter for bacteria, etc. I didn't think I needed these as my camp's water comes from a deep pristine well.
