After removing the previous filter, a disposable filter, I ran the vacuum along a carpetted ledge off the stairs where the cat likes to laze in front of two windows facing opposite sides of the house which catch the sun all day. I couldn't believe how much more cat hair I picked up (I think I could hvve knitted a new cat!). As a twin pack, one filter can be used while the other is being washed and air dried. That's a cycle I can definitely appreciate.
