Fixed my F51 error code on Whirlpool Cabrio Washer!
Whirlpool Cabrio was generating F51 error and after some internet research, this part was supposed to fix the problem. After calling around, etc., Amazon had the cheapest price, saving me almost $30! Husband installed the part using a YouTube video to guide him (it was pretty easy but alot of pieces to remove and reinstall to switch this part out, so be prepared.) and the washer now works just fine! We've now done over 20 loads of varying sizes without any more errors.

Easy replacement part
Replaced this in conjunction with a new controller unit. Easy install. Only requires a few basic tools. Found a you tube video that explained the replacement process. One note of caution, replace connectors on control unit one at a time. Remove old connector and replace with new, then do the next, and so on. This assures you are replacing the old connector with the correct new connector. New harness connectors not color coded the same as the OEM harness. Eliminates confusion. Fast shipping. Received soon than promised. Best price found
it fit both fine after I realized the sensors are basically interchangeable between ...
Whirlpool claims this is the part to fix the error code f51 and will fix the uL code most times. This part wears out too. It will fit almost all whirlpool cabrios. I had a 2007 and a 2010 model, it fit both fine after I realized the sensors are basically interchangeable between the machines. It's the fittings around the sensor that may not be interchangeable, that's why you need the kit. My suggestion is to open up your machine and take a look at the actual sensor and part numbers. I found that my part numbers were different from those I was told to purchase. My original part numbers were also not a match for the machine they came in according to most appliance part stores. There's a few good videos on you tube to fix this yourself. It was relatively easy for me, being pregnant with 3 other children running around as I repaired the machines. Just be careful with the part. It is plastic and will break easily.
