I will offer two helpful hints to potential consumers: (1) Make sure you use an antibacterial additive in your humidifier every time you refill your reservoirs and (2) Always rotate your filter upside down each time you add water. I wasn't expecting much. - I figured they either would not wick the water efficiently, or they would need replacing fairly often. After using the first filter three weeks now, I'm happy to report I was wrong. The filters work fine, and are lighter and easier to handle than the old ones. They are a good value and I would buy them again. A couple of things I would suggest to get the best use: - Use a humidifier bacteriostat treatment to keep the water and filter from getting dirty, moldy or smelly.
