Nice Steamer with a Usage Note This steamer is comfortable to hold and easy to use. It has a nice plume of steam and worked great for me on suits, shirts, and pants. The only issue is that it gets really hot and boils quickly. Which should be a great thing but if you fill it to the fill line, it can boil over and sputter a lot of hot water out the holes. I worked around this in two ways. One, I only filled it to about two thirds capacity. And when I use it I tip it slightly forward - not too much or the water will pour out. Just be careful because if it is sputtering, the water is very hot and can burn. When it is putting out a good plume of steam, it is great and penetrating. This is an excellent steamer! I’ve had a fabric steamer on my wishlist for years, but I guess I never really went shopping for one, because had I known that there were handheld steamers for under $25 available, I would have done this a long time ago. I think I’ve always envisioned something huge, bulky, and awkward, but this is anything but. It is lightweight, no bigger than an iron, and super easy to use. Even when filled with water, because there is no metal like the iron, its not hard to hold up with one hand for the full 12 minutes. The two attachments slide in easily. To fill, just unscrew the cap and funnel some water in. It only takes about a cup, which will last you the full 12 minutes. It is ready to use almost immediately. The box says 2 minutes, but my steamer sounded roarin' and ready in probably 60 seconds. 12 minutes is plenty of time to finish whatever garment of fabric you’re working on. The length of the cord is almost twice as long as any iron I’ve used...
