If you live in a very humid environment be careful with eco mode because the coils never get a chance to dry out and can cause your ac to get moldy and smell since the fan doesn't run full time and dry the coils on the compressor off cycles. Also like any window ac the side panels that help seal the window up are terrible. The best solution I've found so far is to get a sheet of the foam paneling at your local box box store and install the window ac and cut the foam panel to size, then take some clear rtv and seal any gaps.
