The main drawbacks of this model is the non-removable fill tank and its small capacity. You must use a separate bucket to mix the solution and pour it into the reservoir. The top of the reservoir doesn't lift up fully, so adding the hot water is awkward and not as easy as it should be. And because the tank is so small (for such a big machine!), I had to refill the solution often to clean multiple rooms. Comparison to the Bissell Big Green 86T3 I have had numerous carpet cleaners over the years and am comparing it to my BISSELL Big Green Deep Cleaning Machine Professional Grade Carpet Cleaner, 86T3 This was a snap to set up. I pulled it out of the box and straightened the handle (which folds down for storage). I immediately noticed that, while both are made of plastic, this seems to be a much thinner, cheaper-feeling plastic. Although there was nothing to assemble, when I tried snapping the top down (on top of the water tanks), it would not latch. I kept thinking something wasn't aligned, but after repeated attempts and a little forcing it did. I had this trouble for the first dozen or so times I replaced the tanks. Size-wise, it is a little narrower (wheel-to-wheel) than the Bissell, but takes a little more space in depth. This increases a lot if you fold down the handle. The Bissell's handle does not fold. The reservoir holds a decent amount of water - I got about 35 minutes of usage out of a full tank. The fill hole is SMALL (about the size of a pea), and it only includes a cup with a spout. The first time I filled it, I spilled water everywhere. So now I use a funnel to fill it. You really should only use distilled water in water steamers, as tap water quickly leaves mineral depositions on all the inner parts. This can ruin your machine. It took about 10...

At that time the Eureka 313A won and I did a review that has been repeated on websites all over the internet. At that time the Eureka 313A won and I did a review that has been repeated on websites all over the internet.
