The first time I used it, it pulled so much carpet fuzz that should have been long gone. Other than the 17 pound weight of it, the other caution is the rinseable filter. I LOVE that it has a rinseable filter, but I don't love the fact that it has taken so long to dry. The care manual DOES say it takes 24-48 hours to thoroughly dry. I just ordered a spare (part #303903001) and I recommend you do the same up front or you may find yourself mid-job unable to finish. In the future I'll just pop in the spare.

I always review all of my amazon purchases, In this case I had to log in and tell anyone who is currently thinking of buying this vacuum to rest assured and do it. I have 2 Yorkies who don't shed but as with any pet there is the issue of pet dander and let me tell you this vacuum is powerful, not lightweight but not too heavy and much less expensive than other so called pet vacuums. I've only been using it for a month at least twice a week and no problems at all. You should empty it after each use as manufacturer recommends. I'm sure you'll be happy with it.

Take a short cut and buy this before the cheap models. This vacuum has lasted longer on its first charge than the black and decker dustbuster over its miserable short life. Suction is greater and the rotating brush helps gets the lint out of my truck's carpeting. Is twice or thrice the price of the cheap brands/models, but is 10 times better. Smart buy.

The width of the vacuum is smaller than I expected at just under 12", but it does a great job, none the less. This vacuum is small and can easily fit into a water heater closet or can even be stored without the handle on it for easy storage in a clothes or hall closet. One of my main dislikes about this vacuum is the cord storage. The normal L shaped pegs that you wrap the cord around are pretty small and the bottom one is very close to the attachments and the intake valves, making it a tight fit to get the whole thing wrapped up. I've also had the cord come loose from the bottom because of this issue, as well. My other dislike is the hose attachment. You're supposed to disconnect the handle and then attach the hose to it and this is your cleaning wand. However, it was pretty hard to get the handle off...
