These are white plastic and not clear. I installed the filter as usual, it didn't want to seat right, but finally clicked in with a bit of jiggling. I proceeded to dispense water to prime the filters. Nothing happened at first, there was a lot of sputtering, but water finally started coming out, but was also leaking inside the fridge. I pushed the filter in with a bit more force to make sure it was in there. On the 3rd pitcher of water, the water sputtered and, because I had the fridge door open to watch for leaks, the filter suddenly shot straight out of the refrigerator and across the room! Lucky it didn't hit anyone because it would have caused an injury. No damage to the filter that I could...
