We have lived in the home for 4 years, and never thought to replace it, until the water from the refrigerator door started tasting different. A simple push of the old filter, I was able to remove, and easily inserted this new one with a quick push. The old filter was several times heavier. After installing, I ran the water dispenser on the door to get the air out of the filter for the 4 minutes it requested on the package. I however, still noticed air in the system, so I removed and then reinserted the filter, ran the water, and all worked well. I recommend this product and was amazed at how much of a difference the new filter made.

Once we realized that this filter was not made for our refrigerator model, we returned it, only to get $15 back (they took away $10 for return shipping + $9 restocking fee etc). My wife called them back to ask the reason of this kind of unreasonable charges, they were very rude and instead of resolving the matter told me wife that she was calling for merely $8 dollars. I have never seen such bad customer service ever!!! They should tell their employees that their are paid from the money customers...
