The parts person said this part isnt even listed as compatible with my fridge. But even with shipping, this part is cheaper here than it was at the local parts shop. I cant figure out why this chunk of plastic costs so much. But it works - without the cap, I couldnt get the filter in all the way and my kids and I can all taste the difference. Oh, it also shipped so quickly that it was faster to get it from Amazon than it was to order from the local parts shop which is 5 miles from my husband's work and wait for him to find time to run and get it.

Then I see they're charging $22 for a piece of plastic! Guys, charge me a fair price of $4.99 and I'll buy it. Try to rip me off for $22 and I'll just go without.
