Love it! I bought a Chemex at Sur La Table and made 2 pots of coffee with their filters. It took forever to make a pot of coffee and, truth be told, I didn't care for all of the coffee oils being taken out of my coffee. My coffee was also cold by the time it finished dripping. Cool Euro styling - compliments our mid century modern kitchen. This one is much more modern looking and came with a permanent, removable filter. The wrap-around holder comes off for easy cleaning and does protect against the heat of the coffee pretty well. Doesn't drip when you pour. Comes with a little cover that goes into the opening that keeps the coffee warm. I place on a cork trivet to protect it from the counter, but it feels pretty sturdy. I use a fine grind espresso for my coffee, so some of the coffee does get through but at least I'm drinking HOT coffee in the morning as it takes a fraction of the time as the chemex did.
