This coffee funnel has an extremely sloped handle, the design of which allows one to grasp without getting burnt even after pouring nearly boiling water inside. The foot of this vessel is also clever as it is a tripod shape and can easily fit various diameters of coffee carafes or cups, mugs, etc. What I do not like about the product is the color, it does not go with either the white or the ivory ceramics already in my kitchen. It is an odd hue, sort of yellowish almond-y beige as opposed to a distinct ivory, off-white, or light beige. Also, the fabrication is not top quality, there are flaws on the exterior of the product such as excess glaze, drips or divets, but this is a cosmetic issue and does not interfere with use.

I have to drip water in very slowly or it drains so fast there is not time to get good flavor. At first I didn't think it worked b/c the coffee dripped too fast, but I found out from a coffee shop that you need to use more finely ground coffee. This is the KEY! It should be very fine, but not as fine as espresso. It makes a great cup. Enjoy
