Great machine...grounds must be very fine!
So I had bought this machine going by a review by an unbiased espresso machine store, and they tested on a video. They sold all types of machines. So I gave this a try. After reading the reviews on amazon I was little hesitant.

When I tried the machine it worked wonderfully, and later some of the shots I pulled were weak... Similar to what others had mentioned as a con.

Unlike the latter I knew that it did well initially so the error must've fallen on myself, but how? I wondered. So I went online a did a bit of research and found the error lay on how I was grinding the beans. Online it said that certain machine work well with certain grinds. This particular one must be extremely finely ground, and a burr grinder would work more efficiently.

As for the complaints about the bitterness, you get a bit more bitter taste with grinding it finely, but honestly esperesso is not meant to be extremely bitter, that is the result of burnt grounds scorched under...

How Things Work

Dual Frother

This device is easy use and performs very well. There are two parts of the frother. There is a Frothing Sleeve for cappuccinos and when the Frothing Sleeve is removed, it reveals the Steam Tube for lattes. Frothing: Frothing Sleeve is in place over the steam tube. Hot steam and air are injected into the milk. The air will swirl inside the milk creating silky dense froth on top of the milk, ideal for a cappuccino. Steaming only; Frothing Sleeve is removed to reveal the Steam Tube. Only hot steam will be injected into the milk. This is ideal for a latte. Important: To work properly, the Frothing Sleeve and Steam Tube need to be free of any milk deposits from earlier use.

Great little machine!
I purchased this machine based on a recommendation of a close friend. He's made me coffee from his, while visiting his home. It heats up fast, and makes a good coffee. It's a small machine, basic, no frills, etc. However, it serves its purpose quite well. As I said, it heats up fast and takes up little counter space. I actually use this at my office.

I had issues with the first machine I purchased. After about a month of usage, 2-3 coffees a day, the steam wand stopped working. While in steam mode, the machine didn't make any noise or produce steam. Almost as if the switch wasn't triggering. However, coffee was still producible.

I contacted Capresso directly, without expecting much in the way of customer service. Much to my surprise, they apologized for the machine malfunction. The shipped me out a brand new machine, that day, without hesitation! Once I received the new machine, I un-boxed and ensured it worked. Then I boxed up the malfunctioning unit (in the...
