The Bella is about seven pounds when filled with water, and while that's fine with me, my mom has arthritis in her wrists. Yesterday while she was here, I asked her if she could life the full Bella and she couldn't. She could, however, lift the GForce, so it gets high marks for that. I am impressed with the insulation properties, this ceramic kettle keeps the hot water hot for a longer amount of time than my steel or plastic. The design on the kettle is very pretty and well drawn, I was afraid of the lid falling off when pouring, but it stays on pretty securely. It is heavier than my plastic or steel kettles, but not by too much, I can still hold it with no problems. There is not a water checker in this kettle on the outside, but on the inside. There is a little plastic tab that reads "MAX". Overall, this is a great decorative kettle for any kitchen. The insulation is better than plastic or steel. Highly recommended.

How do I love my kettle? Let me count the ways... It's the perfect size. It's not too heavy (unlike the Bella kettle), and keeps the water hot for a long time to come. It's also a lot prettier in person than in the photograph, and can certainly be used when guests come to tea. The GForce kettle is all ceramic, except for the base, which is plastic, and for the "Max" fill indicator inside. However, I never fill it up so have no real concerns about that. Overall, an excellent purchase.
