I actually ordered it as a gift for my husband who drinks lots of tea. My inner man came out, and I didn't read any instructions. I put 2 heaping teaspoons of Irish Breakfast tea, (it's a pretty large bottle), in the immerser, along with a nice twist of lemon zest. It spent the whole day in the refrigerator. When my husband got home from work (around 1 am), hot and thirsty, I removed the immerser and gave him the bottle. He loved it! Said it wasn't bitter or flat tasting, and he was impressed. Loved the lemon scent and flavor which really came through. I will probably buy a couple of these for holiday presents. Great item!

Great Item for Bakers to Have Around the House I received this Cold Brew Maker at a discount in exchange for my honest review. I must say honestly this is worth the money. You can make regular coffee with it if you want, but it is exceptional for making concentrated coffee for your iced coffees and coffee drinks. The longer you leave the maker in the fridge the more concentrated it will become. I put mine in overnight and the left in all day the next day. Once its was a super nice dark rich coffee, I used it in making a dark coffee cake for my mother's birthday. This gave me such a wonderful flavor. Because you are cold brewing, you lose some of the bitterness from burning the grounds. I had no idea this could be done. I have always used my coffee machine and have never been able to get a good concentration. I would recommend this to anyone that likes baking, cooking and creating things with coffee.
