The easy hot water function is wonderful for when I want to make a pouch of hot cocoa or loose tea. Also, the fact that it can do Vue pods in the same machine means that I'm in latte heaven! It's virtually silent compared to the old Keurig I had, which died, and definitely holds far more water. The display also makes it easy to choose between sizes, along with the specialty buttons: strong brews on a longer cycle to ensure that the pod's flavoring actually makes it into the cup, and the cocoa/other is for the ready-mix powder pods because it bursts air periodically through the brew cycle which scours the pod's inside and mixes the powder as well as chasing all the cocoa/tea/cappuccino out. The carafe, I felt, could have stronger pods, but that's my personal taste. My sister was perfectly happy with the strength when she tasted from the same carafe, so our opinions varied.
