Perfect replacement for LG Original at fraction of cost... Every six months I used to grit my teeth and order yet another LG branded water filter for my French Door LG refrigerator. I was about to do that yet again when I saw this product as an alternative. I decided to give it a chance since the reviews were mostly positive. I am glad I did. It replaced the original filter (LG JA2006A) perfectly and there were no leaks. Installation was issue free as it was a match to the one coming out. I had one concern about the water coming out initially black as I began flushing it out. But a quick email to the company was returned within minutes explaining that because it is a charcoal filter, that is not uncommon. I did see at least one other reviewer mention this after I received the email back so I am no longer concerned. I just flushed it a little more than normal until all the liquid looked normal. It tastes great and I am very pleased with the excellent customer service response from the company. I'll be ordering these from now on.
