Simple, delicious, zen-like coffee
The BeeHouse Coffee Dripper has been in my possession for the last seven days. After perusing multiple websites and reviews I settled on the BeeHouse over Hario Dripper. The consensus is that the BeeHouse Dripper can deliver a great cup of coffee without the hassle of having a perfect pour using a kettle specific for pouring water. I love my coffee gadgets as much as anyone else but I had to think a few times as to whether a dedicated kettle for pouring water made any sense. In the end I settled for the BeeHouse Dripper which I have seen used by Blue Bottle Coffee. If they can get a great tasting cup of coffee, I certainly can make it happen at home. (It's also interesting to note that while they use what looks like a BeeHouse dripper they sell a Bonmac dripper to customers.)

My method is like many you might have found on the web. Here's my morning process:

1. Place the dripper on top of a cup. The mouth of the cup needs to be less than 3.5 inches in diameter...

This larger size ceramic coffee dripper fits on top of any mug and is used for coffee or loose leaf tea brewing. Just place a cone filter insert inside (not included) and pour water over contents to brew. Liquid will drip brew into the mug. 2-4 cup brewing capacity while brewing through filter.
Large Size is Too Small, but Great Cup of Coffee!
I had been using the plastic Melitta drip cone brewer and really liked it. I read in some message board that ceramic is really the way to go and they all recommended this product. Luckily, I read the reviews that say the large size fits the #2 filter (which is small), so that's what I got. My only quibble is the base is too small. I don't use a huge mug, but the base barely fits. I have to balance it precariously to make me coffee. Any false move will send it crashing to the counter.

That being said, this dripper makes a fantastic cup of pour-over coffee.

UPDATE: On the fourth day I had this dripper, I was washing it in the sink and it broke into two pieces, right in my hand. The base is very thin and fragile.
