Good for Freshening the Air!
I use it with a few drops of essential oils in it and it helps freshen the air and get rid of my neighbor's cigarette smoke smell that finds it's way into my apartment (at least while it is running). It also routinely catches gnats in the water bowl too, probably because of the blue led lights attract them when it's dark and they get sucked in. You might also want to consider using softened or distilled water in it if available to you since it gets a pretty heavy coating of hard water very quickly otherwise.

Centrifugal force makes water climb up inside of the funnel shaped stem and is splashed on the sides of the water container. Fan circulates air through the water container and caries the scent into room. These units have a blue nightlight installed. Use Instructions: -Fill the basin with cool water between 2 lines visible on the container. -Put a few drops of your favorite fragrance (not included with either of the systems)into the water. -Set the cap onto the basin. -Plug it in. -Turn it on. -ENJOY.
Very pleased.
I have this as well as the Rainmate from Rainbow Vacumn. It works just as well as the Rainmate. Very pleased.
