I have a Frigidaire side-by-side with ice & water dispenser on the front (sorry don't know the exact model #). My particular model will not let you remove the internal water filter and still use the water & ice dispenser on the front. However the water pressure coming out of the door is pathetic at best using either the city water line or my RO water line. After reading the reviews, I decided to try this filter bypass even though my exact filter part number wasn't listed in the description. The pictured filter was identical to mine so I gave it a try. My exact filter number is 242086201. Rest assured, if you have that filter, this replacement bypass will fit perfectly. For comparison purposes, I filled the same glass with water before I removed the factory filter & after adding the bypass. In the same 10-second test, the bypass allowed roughly 2.5 times as much water into my glass. I know people aren't happy with the cost of a "bypass" filter that doesn't...
