Last point, you do not need to turn off the water supply to change the filter. Just rotate the old one about a quarter turn and pull down, and it will release. Then install the new one and flush, I use a two quart pitcher to remove the lose carbon particles and you are good to go. Great filter for my Samsung Fridge The filter arrived in good condition on time. There was no difficulty installing the filter in my Samsung Fridge. Flushing the filter as they recommend is a good idea or you may see some charcoal residue in the water. I would buy it again.
