Where I would have once used a few milliliters of an oil, I now use drops. The best part is the scent even moves out further and more evenly than when used with an oil warmer! The diffuser is about 6 inches tall and is cylindrical, so probably 5 inches in diameter. The setup is fairly easy. The cord goes under the diffuser, but Etekcity put enough room under it so that despite the cord plugging into the bottom of the unit, it sits flat on its own feet, which is great. You can use the included cup to fill the diffuser with as much water as you want up to 300 mL, which for me lasts about 8 hours. From there, you put in 3 or 4 drops of oil and turn the unit on! The unit makes a little bit of sound, but I find that I like the white noise. The noise does for some reason seem to go away when you have less water in the unit though.
