I like the LED screen on the lid that tells you when it's time to replace the filter; the Brita I owned had the clingy sticker you had to remember to move when you replaced them. Like the Brita, you soak the new filter for 15 minutes, insert it in the pitcher and fill and dispose of three pitcher's worth of water.
