It works great. No more sneezing and waking up with sinus headaches and puffy eyes except for when I forget to turn it back on after cleaning it. Nice and quiet. Purifies the air in my 12x17 bedroom. Ultra quiet on the low setting which I use for sleeping. I use the auto setting during the day since it may occasionally hit the highest speed which is too noisy at night. It was a great replacement for my Sharper Image unit which finally died and is no longe rmanufactured. The 3way air purification with HEPA is the best purification you can get. I purchased the larger Conway unit for my downstairs area (living room / dining room / kitchen). It also does a great job and the filters are cheap on Amazon. I clean/rinse the carbon filter monthly and vacumm the HEPA filter to make it last longer.

Ever since I turned it on (left on medium) I have not sneezed once while in the room I have it in but continue to get allergy symptoms in other parts of the house/outside. It is also very quiet. Even on its highest setting it isn't too loud. It is built well in general. I also like that it isn't an Ionizer and doesn't have a UV-C lamp. Both of which I believe to be bad for your health. Also, no chemical smell at all! Which to me means, no toxic chemicals in the filter (seems to be a problem with ones made in China.) For the price, this thing is well worth it.

Perfect to protect against a dorm designed in the 50s I bought this item after my son was assigned to a university dorm that comes with its own syndrome (I kid you not - google Kellum Hall at FSU). This has run continuously for the past four months with no hangups. The smell in the room is noticeably different - better - so much so that people come visit just to smell the air. We visited recently and, after thirty minutes or so in his room, I almost gagged when I walked back into the hallway. He'll survive this year, lungs intact, thanks to this machine.
