This *should* come with the Handpresso kit. I don't like that they make you but this expensive add-on to actually obtain good coffee from your portable machine. But, it is the same good quality as the original, and really makes a stronger cup of espresso. A bit expensive, but E.S.E. pods are even more expensive, so it'ss better to get as much flavor as possible from every cup. Highly recommended product, but Handpresso should include this portafilter instead of the one they give you with the machine.

This accessory is compatible with all the Handpresso Wild machines (ESE or DomePod). Just don't think its necessary... I read lots of reviews about the handpresso wild hybrid, and the intense portafilter...and decided to go ahead and order one. First shot with the "intense", I used an ese pod...and my extraction time was over 45 seconds, and water leaked out of the valve. Tried it again, with another pod...same thing. Tried it with ground and tamped beans...same thing. Waaaay too long extraction time, and the resulting shot was not good. With the regular portafilter, my first shot with ground and tamped beans took 25 seconds...perfect. Same with the pod. I'm really starting to think that some of the review are "planted" to get people to buy these things...which are not cheap. As far as I am concerned, it just isn't necessary. I am going to invest in a tamper, though...I just don't have anything that small to properly tamp my grinds....and the handpresso really is capable of making a very good shot of espresso....no compromise...it's good, and not difficult at all. Handpresso Intense Portafilter The Intense Portafilter has a slower extraction time than the regular filter, and the expresso tastes better. There are no differences in the use of the expresso machine other than it takes a few more seconds for the expresso to reach the cup.
