Powerful and Precise 1500-watt Heater

Bonavita brewers are fitted with a powerful and precise heater that reaches the optimal temperature quickly and maintains that temperature throughout the brew. This results in faster brewing and, of course, delicious coffee.

Better Saturation, Uniform Extraction

A wide showerhead design evenly distributes water over the coffee grounds to ensure uniform extraction. It works in harmony with the precise flat-bottomed filter basket to ensure even saturation. The result is an optimal flavor profile at your desired strength.

A Game Changer
This is one of those rare products that is a game changer. It doesn't just make excellent coffee. It also enhances your life. (By comparison, you can see my review of the Technivorm Moccamaster KBGT 10-cup Coffee Brewer with Thermal Carafe that I bought from Amazon.)

My wife and I enjoyed the $100.00 12-cup Cuisinart coffee maker with glass carafe for years. It still works fine. We bought the Moccamaster to try to find something even better. We disliked it very much, and returned it. We bought this 8-cup Bonavita, based on its reviews on the CNET website, the Amazon website, and other websites. We love it.

We initially chose the Moccamaster over the Bonita, because it says it is 10-cups and Bonavita says its coffee maker is only 8 cups. We since have learned that both coffee makers are 40-ounce machines. The difference is that Moccamaster calls a cup 4 ounces, and Bonita calls a cup 5 ounces. There's no difference between the amounts of coffee they...
I researched and bought many before finding the perfect coffee brewer
Please read update below my original review, after 4 months the machine broke and wont dispense the water.:

In the last two months I've bought several auto coffee pots looking for the one that would make GREAT coffee and NOT just keep it hot. If you want a coffee pot to keep the coffee scalding hot then buy the Cuisinart DTC-975BKN Thermal 12-Cup Programmable Coffeemaker. It will scald your mouth for hours and hours. Frankly I don't understand why anybody wants coffee that hot, maybe because you cant then taste how awful it is? I also bought the Bonavita 1800 both the glass container and the Stainless Steel. I watched repeatedly as the water neglected to come out of all the holes so both those went back. I waited months for the 1900TS model to come back in stock. After ordering waited with dread because the reviews came back negative. I've made several pots of coffee now. There is NO plastic smell or taste and I'm VERY picky about that. I do use the pre-infusion method...
