I think that it is a little expensive, but I hesitate to go with another filter because of how this makes my water taste and it's performance. The specs also say that it can filter twice as much water as the PUR filter, so it is on par with it as far as cost per gallon.

Woke up this morning to pool of water under my refrigerator. The cartridge did not seal properly and was leaking. Tried to reseat it by taking it out but it still leaked. I Cannot be sure if the filter is made cheaply or if the filter is not a perfect fit. None-the-less, I have to rate it 1 STAR and will not buy it again. Mind you, this SHOULD HAVE NOTHING to do with the seller. It is purely a poorly made product in my opinion. I would ask for my money back, but I used the filter for a week before discovering it was bad. So I’m out $20.
