Pretty great filter
Pretty great filter. It's very easy to install, very easy to take off, and works without a hitch. I used a better known, more expensive, brand for years but decided to try this one on a whim and am very impressed with the results and the consistent taste it produces. The filters are pretty cheap and I notice that they last a pretty long time depending on how often you use it (I use it quite a bit though). I would definitely recommend this if you're in the market for a filter, but make sure you read what manufacturers its compatible with before you buy.

Perfect Fit, Great Value
I procrastinated way too long on changing my filter! At a fraction of the cost of the [[ASIN:B000UW2DTE: Whirlpool 4396841 PUR Push Button Side-by-Side Refrigerator Water Filter]], my water tastes infinitely better. I was worried at first about the fit of getting a third party filter, but it fits in perfectly. At the same price of just one filter I can keep back up now.
Next time, I'll pay the extra $$ for the Pur/Kenmore filter
The filter was easy to install, but does not do a great job of filtering. If you drink the water cold, from the fridge, it is okay. If you let a glass sit overnight, it doesn't taste good. Never had that with the Pur/Kenmore filters. I generally fill a glass to leave in the bathroom, for after I brush my teeth in the morning. The water tastes funky. And no, it isn't the toothpaste.
