Hazardous Plastic code used to make this item
I give this coffee filter basket one star because is labeled with plastic material code #3 which is the following:Polyvinyl Chloride (PVC) has di-2-ehtylhexyl phthalate (DEHP). DEHP is an endocrine disruptor and a likely human carcinogen.
As soon as i received it i noticed the plastic was different so before to use it i compared it with my original MrCoffee basket,
that's when i found that unlike the one i currently use, which has imprinted the code #1 on it, this unlabeled and unpackaged version i bought unfortunately is among those types that can release nasty hormone disruptors and carcinogens into your food and drink. Not going to use it so i cannot give a review on that.

great basket.
Have bought this basket three times in 7 years. Highly durable. Would buy again. I believe it works as well as paper filters, with less mess.
