The filters I received have the removable panel on one side. The actual dimensions of the filter are 4 7/8" x 6 3/4" x 1/2". The advertised dimensions must be for the box in which the two filters are packaged. The part number is Electrolux #242047801, which turned out to be the exact replacment for my old filter. When it comes time for replacement, I'll buy from these folks again. Just wish they would update the product information.

Perfect A twin pack of "PureAir" carbon filters for $8.60 . . . . wow! Received in less than a week. They fit perfectly and they were the exact match for the ones that came with our new Electrolux Fridge and Freezer. Will definitely buy from these guys again!
