They have always worked great, until I ordered these. The filtered water comes out funkier than the tap. And it doesn't go away. I let the water run forever, filling up several pitchers, and it stays nasty. Days later the filtered water is still no good; it smells bad, it tastes bad, and it is not a subtle difference from the previous filter. It is rank. And it's not just a random defect, all three in the three-pack were bad. It's odd because they look brand new, the box looks the same as others I've ordered, but something is clearly wrong with them. Others have suggested that these are recycled, which seems possible; who knows? The upshot: do not buy!!!

Defective Water Filter I purchased the 3 package of water filters in September of 2013 for $86.50 and did not use it until March 2014 because water filter gets replace every 6 months. When I installed the filter, I knew something was wrong when I removed the plastic cover for the water filter and you hear the release of gas. I don't recall hearing the release of gas from removing the plastic cover on my old filter. Also, my old filter was working fine with my refrigerator. Anyway when I installed it, water did come down from my water dispenser. Caribbean Appliance Parts advise me that it was out of warranty and can't do anything about it. Never buy from this place again.
